IGE learning modules have been developed taking into consideration the latest research on education and models of effective professional development. The learning modules have been developed under two strands
Re-imagining and Developing Curriculum: IGE works with schools to develop, review and write curriculum. This involves revising and reimagining curriculum to be structured within in a conceptual framework.
These modules are relevant to classroom pedagogy and have relevance to whole school innovation, including leadership. They provide for initiative and creative thinking through the development of systems, frameworks and processes to ensure sustained effective change.
All modules are available for teachers, administration and/or for whole school or small groups. The duration of the modules is flexible and can be built on and further developed through ongoing, tailored professional development.
In all modules an interactive, collaborative and professional learning approach will be utilized - one that models effective pedagogy. Current, relevant and innovative classroom practice and research will be used to support the modules.
